This is the blog for Matthew Cerra, the mind behind the Saga of the East and its inaugural title - "Empires Awakening". I will do my best to update regularly and to keep you posted on both my latest Zombie fears and where things are at with my book publishing process. Hang along for the ride and maybe you can get some laughs out of my Kinetomortophobia and perhaps order a book of mine to enjoy for yourself.
Flight doesn't leave for another ten hours but I am already anxious. Still not confident I can land the plane in event of zombies. Will hope air traffic control is alive.
I'm always nervous boarding a flight; it's scarey to hand your fate over to a complete stranger. Have to admit I think more about crashing than zombies. There's nothing wrong with being nervous, for whatever reason. The important thing is to get past that and do what we have to do. I could die in my sleep, get hit by an 18-wheeler, or any number of other unanticipated fates. Yet I don't live as if every day could be my last, at least not fearfully. I was much more fearful when I was younger, but that didn't save me from marrying an idiot. The gift from that relationship was four wonderful children, all of whom I continue to love to this day. I may have regrets, but for the most part my life has been good. I wish the same for everyone.
